Terms and conditions for Plum Braes Barn, Edmonston House and Morningside Apartment

1.     £100.00 deposit for Plum Braes cottages and 99 Morningside Drive, £200 for Edmonston, enclosed with the completed booking form. Please note   that the booking form is very important. It can be forwarded by e-mail or printed off and posted.

2.     The balance is due 6 weeks before date of holiday.

3.     Non – payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation and the property may be re – let.

4.     In the event of a booking not being accepted all fees will be refunded immediately.

5.     In the event of a cancellation, the owners will endeavour to re – let the property and if successful will normally refund the balance of rent less any expenses incurred.

6.     It is recommended that insurance is taken out against cancellation. Please ask the owner to send a holiday protection leaflet. It is a very reasonable price.

7.     Tenants to agree to pay for any loss or damage caused during their stay and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy state. The owners reserve the right to charge for any damage, loss or additional cleaning costs incurred during the tenants stay.

8.     The tenants to agree that neither the owners nor any persons in their employ will be liable for any loss, damage, sickness or injury, howsoever caused, which may be sustained by the tenants or any member of their party, or any person whom the tenants may have invited into the accommodation and grounds of the property during the holiday period.

9.     In the unlikely event, all complaints should be notified to the owners within 48 hours, to give the owners the opportunity to investigate the complaint and to endeavour to put the matter right.

10.   No additional persons shall be permitted to reside at the property booked, over and above that specified on the booking form, without agreement.

11.    Lettings commence at 3.30 p.m. on day of arrival and end at 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure, unless other arrangements made.

12.    Credit Card payments 2% booking fee.
